Interpretation
The history of the Newman and Company in Harbour Breton will be interpreted as well our rich and sometimes tragic relationship with the sea and fishery. In addition, interpretation will be offered of the building itself and the role that it played in helping a community survive the loss of its major employer.

Performing Arts
A performance theatre provides the opportunity for local artisans to perform in a professional venue or for conference groups to present new ideas. The management committee is open to discuss potential uses for the theatre that would both assist individuals and/or groups develop performance opportunities while assisting the Elliott Premises Management Committee achieve the goal of becoming self-sufficient.
Craft Shop
Space is available at the Elliott Premises to sell local crafts. Arrangements can be made to display and sell crafts from local artisans on a consignment basis.

Workshop
A fully equipped workshop is available in the Elliott Premises and woodworkers will be encouraged to utilize the facility and explore new small scale wood manufacturing opportunities. The management committee is open to discussing potential uses for the workshop that would both assist individuals and/or groups increase capacity for producing quality wood product/crafts while assisting the Elliott Premises Management Committee achieve the goal of becoming self-sufficient.

Meetings and Small Conferences
There is a great deal of space available to host small themed meeting and conference groups in a uniquely designed and constructed harbour front facility. In April 2007 the Elliott Premises was used by the Coast of Bays Corporation to host a Business Opportunities Identification Summit which brought together representatives from various businesses in the Coast of Bay region to learn about the opportunities available in the areas emerging industries. The management committee can see great potential in this type of activity.

| Ellott Premises Marina | |
Marina
A recreational boat marina is available on site offering 400 feet of floating dock space (expected to increase to 600 feet by July 2007). This is an ideal setting for local recreational boaters and visiting yachters to berth their vessels away from the commercial boats. There are user fees associated with the marina. Fees are charged for daily use depending on vessel size. Also, a seasonal general and premium memberships can be purchased. Please contact Miranda Maddox at the Town Office for more information.
